Building on its growing regional and national reputation, Boise law firm Zarian, Midgley and Johnson, PLLC (Zarian Midgley) announced today that four of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized in the 2009 Super Lawyers® publication. Founded in 2007, the firm specializes in intellectual property matters and complex business litigation and is Idaho’s largest intellectual property law firm.
“This is an extraordinary honor for the firm and says a great deal about the quality of the lawyers on our team,” said John Zarian, managing attorney for Zarian Midgley. “The firm has attracted and continues to attract attorneys with national experience and diverse technical degrees who want to pursue a highly sophisticated practice while living in a place like Boise.”
Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes the top five-percent of attorneys in the mountain states region, which includes Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Montana. This year, Mountain States Super Lawyers lists John Zarian as a Super Lawyer in the practice area of Intellectual Property Litigation. Peter Midgley and Rex Johnson are honored as Rising Stars in the area of Intellectual Property. Dana Herberholz is also recognized as a Rising Star in the area of Intellectual Property Litigation.
This is the second consecutive year in which Zarian has been included in the list of Mountain States Super Lawyers in the practice area of Intellectual Property Litigation. He was also previously recognized in the list of 2006 Southern California Super Lawyers in the practice area of Business Litigation.
Nominations for these prestigious awards come from other working legal professionals and the awards are chosen by a rigorous multi-phase selection process. Each year, Law & Politics, a publication of Key Professional Media, Inc., performs a polling, research and selection process in which lawyers in 70 different practice areas are asked to nominate the best attorneys they have personally observed in action. The nominees are then evaluated on personal achievements such as verdicts and settlements, honors and awards, scholarly lectures and writings, pro bono and community service.
