The firm also specializes in the franchising, broker-dealer and restaurant industries. Ungar is a Certified Fraud Examiner. In addition to applying this expertise to audits of financial statements, he consults with businesses on fraud risks and helps them improve controls reduce fraud risk.
Joel Ungar began his career in the Detroit office of a Big 4 CPA firm after earning his bachelors in business administration degree from the University of Michigan in 1984. Ungar is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
