MSI Global Alliance's Kentucky accounting firm member Munninghoff Lange & Company has been engaged to perform the 2009 audit for Huntington Captive Insurance Company (HCIC), a captive insurance company wholly owned by Huntington National Bank. Deloitte & Touche had formerly provided audit services to HCIC.
Douglas Lange, partner at Munninghoff Lange & Company, said that his firm’s expertise in the captive industry and client service focus were the driving forces behind the win. “HCIC was looking for a firm with expertise in the captive industry who would provide them with a better level of service than what they currently received.
