Chokshi & Chokshi, MSI’s Mumbai accounting firm member recently undertook an entire entry strategy for a large advertising company based in Australia and South Africa. They approached the firm for advice on how to set up their business in India.
They proceeded with a wholly-owned subsidiary and Chokshi & Chokshi procured the Directors Identification Number for the proposed directors as well as providing a local director.
Chokshi & Chokshi also undertake their monthly payroll, tax payments, and regulatory compliance requirements (including under FEMA), and advise on cash flow management. Financial statements had to be converted from Indian GAAP to South African and Australian MIS. The firm is now identifying debt opportunities with an eye on private equity and thereafter capital markets.
Chokshi & Chokshi are currently advising on similar projects involving UK consulting companies, an Australian hair care solutions company, and US based IT companies.
