London law firm member wins large property assignments against big city firms

Philip Sargeant - 16 September 2008
Lee Bolton Monier Williams appointed solicitors to British Safety Council and London Transport

MSI's London law firm member, Lee Bolton Monier Williams, has recently been appointed as solicitors to the British Safety Council following a competitive tender which was won against stiff competition from large city firms.

The firm has also been instructed by London Transport to deal with the property work arising out of the Thames Gateway project.

Further wins on the property side include Heythrop College (part of London University) in the re-organisation of their property including the management of a large central London site (off Kensington High Street), and the taking and granting of leases and subleases to the Royal College of Music and Fordham University.

In the education sector the firm has been instructed to provide advice on and the documentation to ten Academies in England and Wales under the government policy initiatives which is being orchestrated by the Department of Children, School and Families.
