UK law firm continues to grow employment team

Giles Brake - 30 June 2009
Malcolm Patridge, Employment Tribunal specialist, joins Birketts' Norwich office

In 2005, East Anglia law firm Birketts’  Norwich Employment Team consisted of two solicitors.  Four years later, the team had grown beyond recognition with two partners, two associates and a solicitor working together to advise a large variety of clients both regionally and nationally.

Malcolm Partridge, employment law specialist based in Norwich

Now, in June 2009, Birketts has once again increased the depth and range of legal skills on offer by engaging the services of Malcolm Partridge, who has joined as a consultant.  A number of the present Birketts team trained under Malcolm’s guidance.

Malcolm has over twenty years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of employment law, with a particular focus on contentious issues.  He is an Employment Tribunal specialist and is well renowned and highly regarded both for his advocacy skills and practical approach to difficult problems.

Before specialising in employment law, Malcolm practised as a criminal law and licensing specialist.  He is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and is a former president of the Norfolk and Norwich Law Society.

Commenting on his appointment, Malcolm said “I am delighted to be associated with such a vibrant and growing firm with an East Anglian focus, and particularly to work again with some well-respected colleagues in the legal world.”
