MSI Global Alliance is delighted to confirm that it has reached agreement with Sharon Wilson & Co, one of The Bahamas' leading small law firms, to become MSI's exclusive law firm member on the islands.
With clients involved regularly in matters in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, the firm wanted to formalise its relationships with other similar sized law firms in order to ensure greater reliability and client satisfaction.
Established in 2000 by Sharon R. Wilson, a former Chief Magistrate and Past President of The Senate of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Sharon Wilson & Co provides legal services including: litigation, real estate law, family law, maritime law, and all matters related to starting and developing a business in The Bahamas.
With regards to its litigation practice, the firm counts among its clients both national and international commercial organisations including small and medium sized businesses, financial institutions, insurance companies and oil companies. The litigation team is strengthened by the experience gained by its attorneys in judicial roles. Litigators at the firm also have experience in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration, and where necessary advise these avenues over litigation through the courts.
The firm's real estate practice has served all of the islands' onshore commercial banks and many insurance companies, and also acts on behalf of land developers.
With The Bahamas having one of the largest ship registries in the world, the attorneys at Sharon Wilson & Co have advised on matters relating to the financing, purchase and registration of vessels, and have been involved in some of the largest ship arrests in The Bahamas in recent history.
