Andrew Ball is a partner at accountancy firm, haysmacintyre. Andrew heads up the firm's hotels, restaurants and hospitality sector. As well as statutory audit and corporation tax compliance Andrew also assists companies in the sector with due diligence, specialist VAT advice and payroll tax issues.
Andrew also acts for certain clients as a financial consultant to the Board.
Overview
As well as assisting clients with their compliance requirements, Andrew has acted for a number of his hospitality clients as a financial consultant, including strategic planning, consideration of working capital requirements and high level discussions with the bank regarding credit facilities.
Andrew is also involved in the firm’s property sector which links to his hotel clients.
Andrew is part of the firm’s technical department and he assists a number of clients, advising on various accounting or financial reporting issues. He has significant experience in IFRS, reporting accountants work, corporate technical issues and working with companies with overseas subsidiaries.
Andrew joined haysmacintyre in 1999, and was admitted to partnership in October 2007.
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys football, travelling and is an avid poker player.
