Ann Roome joined the firm in November 2007 as Consultant Trade Mark Attorney. Ann is a UK Registered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney, authorised to represent clients before the Community Trade Mark Office. She is a member of the UK Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and the European Communities Trade Mark Association.

Ann has extensive experience advising clients on how to obtain and protect their trade mark rights, both in the UK and overseas. Past experience includes handling the trade mark requirements and portfolios of multinational corporations, SMEs, owner managed companies, start ups and individuals. She has also secured trade mark rights for educational establishments, charities, national parks and County Councils. Particular areas of interest include advising on distinctiveness issues and contentious and non-contentious proceedings at the Community Trade Mark Office.

Ann also advises on the protection of trade marks internationally, including the USA, the Far East, Asia and the Middle East.
