In recent years there has been growing awareness of a disease known as Stevens Johnson Syndrome (SJS). Over the past several years Chuck has handled and evaluated many cases dealing with SJS . Chuck has received large settlement awards in all of the cases he has taken. Additionally, Chuck has been asked to evaluate SJS cases in six different states leading him to put together a team of lawyers and experts. This SJS legal team is dedicated to educating the medical profession and the public about the dangers of the drugs that are known to cause this devastating disease.

Chuck has tried more than 400 civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. He has also taught trial strategy and techniques in addition to negotiation and settlement skills to attorneys in the United States and abroad.

Chuck has handled hundreds of security cases in courts and before arbitration panels and training employees of broker dealers on security matters.

The University of Colorado and its athletic department have retained Chuck in several high profile trials and Chuck has twice represented the Colorado Legislature in litigation matters.

Chuck has had the good fortune of representing a number of national firms in intellectual property matters, including patents, trade secrets, and violation of no-compete agreements. On many occasions, these representations have involved injunction hearings, as well as trials. One of his Federal Court intellectual property cases has been cited many times in reference books and Court decisions. Chuck has handled litigation involving highly sensitive aerospace disputes for one of the largest companies in the United States.

Chuck has been a frequent lecturer in many states on all aspects of litigation and arbitration and on many occasions has presented private seminars for companies on the ways to prevent lawsuits and how to internally monitor them.
