Colin has traveled extensively, including a semester of study at the Miami University European Studies Center in Luxembourg. In law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Board. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Colin was born in Augsberg, West Germany. He enjoys fishing, scuba diving, and speaking French. He is an Area Chairman and active member of Ducks Unlimited.
