Overview
Scott Baker maintains a diverse practice within the ZKS Real Estate
Practice Group. As a former Chief Planner for the City of Orlando, a
significant component of Scott’s practice involves land use approvals,
environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance. In recent years,
Scott’s knowledge and experience has proved especially useful to lenders
and property owners facing unique challenges related to loan workouts,
bankruptcies, and foreclosures.
In addition to his land use practice, Scott handles a broad range of real estate and corporate matters.
Scott holds AICP certification from the American Institute of
Certified Planners, a national institute of experienced urban planning
professionals. He is also a board member of the Central Florida Real
Estate Council.
Scott’s pro bono activities include serving as a Guardian ad Litem in
Orange County, representing low income tenants through the Legal Aid
Society of the Orange County Bar Association, and providing free legal
assistance through the St. Margaret Mary Church Legal Committee.
