Overview
David trained and qualified with the firm and was appointed partner in April 2006. He acts for a wide range of corporate entities and specialises in advising listed clients. His clients are from a broad range of sectors including real estate, motor dealers, manufacturing, and media. David is a general partner but specialises in valuations, financial due diligence investigations and the preparation of financial forecasts/business plans.
Technical
David heads up the firm’s technical department. With the introduction of more and more complex accounting standards clients are increasingly in need of advice and assistance with various accounting or financial reporting issues.
Services to Small Caps
David acts for a number of small listed companies on both the AIM and the Plus markets. International Accounting Standards
David has advised numerous clients on the implications of adopting International Accounting Standards. He has developed an expertise in accounting for share options under IFRS 2 and FRS 20 and is instrumental in establishing the firm’s expertise of intangible asset valuations required by IFRS 3.
In his spare time David is a keen golfer and an avid poker player.
