Edward J.J. Scheck is the managing partner of Toronto accounting firm Hogg Shain & Scheck. Ed focuses on providing advice on business planning, financing, profitability, and taxation to entrepreneurial businesses and non-profit organizations.
Overview
Ed is a graduate of Ryerson University and the University of Akron. In 1974, he received his CA designation and in 2006 he became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.
As a member of T.E.C. (The Executive Committee), the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Turnaround Management Society, Ed has particular expertise helping businesses expand or those who are experiencing difficulties. Ed is involved with The Toronto Board of Trade, World Trade Centre Toronto, Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University and Granite Golf. He is a past Chair of The Toronto Board of Trade. When he is not at work or a volunteer, Ed can be found on the golf course.
