Overview
Lisa works extensively in the area of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases. She has represented secured creditors, unsecured creditors, unsecured creditors' committees, landlords and shareholders in courts throughout the U.S.
Lisa has also worked on all aspects of civil litigation in federal and state courts, from initial pleadings through discovery (including e-discovery), motion practice, trials and appeals. She has advised banks and other financial institutions, corporations, insurance companies, and individuals on a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including: business tort, breach of contract and creditors' rights litigation.
Prior to joining LP, Lisa was as an associate with Stein, Ray & Harris in Chicago, where she gained extensive experience in commercial litigation. Prior to that, she worked as an associate with Thacher Proffitt & Wood in New York, where she specialized in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
