Javier is a senior partner of the firm and he sits on the firm's Executive Committee. He has considerable experience advising on both corporate and commercial matters and has extensive experience advising on takeovers, company acquisitions, and corporate finance matters as well as in private client and trust sector work. Presently, Javier heads up the legal team at T&T which advises the Government of Gibraltar on the Eastside Project - Gibraltar's largest ever property development transaction; prior to this he also acted for the Danish owners of Europort and Eurotowers, which at the time was the largest property investment made by a Danish company outside of Denmark. Javier has also advised on the implementation of rescue schemes for certain banks and other international organisations as a result of the current world economic crisis.

Javier maintains a premiere ranking by Chambers Global in General Business Law, and is described as the sort of lawyer to instruct if you want "someone to fight your corner, no holds barred". He also receives high praise from the Legal 500 with a first tier ranking in relation to private client work.
