Overview
In litigation, Gregg has successfully represented clients, in Illinois and elsewhere, in significant litigation involving corporate control and breakups, insurance coverage, commercial real estate, competition law, telecommunications matters, information technology development and procurement projects, banking disputes, consumer fraud matters, bankruptcy proceedings, and asset foreclosures. Minkow also has significant experience litigating and advising clients on employment and benefits issues.
In transactions, Gregg has negotiated and closed multimillion dollar strategic transactions and licensing agreements. He has significant experience in the areas of information technology and data privacy, having been chief in-house counsel to a major international provider of data, software, and analytics. His private practice has included advising a large multinational software and hardware company in merger and acquisition negotiations. Gregg has advised both mature and start-up companies on intellectual property strategies and development projects, creation of offshore presence, licensing, and shareholder/member rights agreements. He has also represented companies in critical litigation and pre-litigation negotiations involving contracts for goods and services, insurance, banking relationships, and construction contracts.
Gregg’s clients have included data and software companies, regional medical centers, a national wireless telecommunications company, real estate developers, employee leasing companies, municipal governments, minor league professional sports teams, and a grocery chain.
