Overview
Jan studied law in Kiel, Lyon (France) and Surrey (England). After receiving his doctorate, he joined the firm in 1996. For approximately one and a half years he worked as an in-house counsel for a medium-sized building company in Lower Saxony. He became a partner of Ahlers & Vogel in 1999.
As a bar-certified specialist in Building Law and the Law of Architects as well as Administrative Law, Jan advises nationwide clients in the fields of both private and public Building and Public Procurement Law.
He is a permanent contributor to the Journal for Property and Construction Law (“Immobilien- und Baurecht” -“IBR”) and a member of the German Association for Construction Law (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Baurecht e.V.), the Procurement Forum (Forum Vergabe e.V.) and the Society for German and International Subsoil and Construction Law (Centrum für Deutsches und Internationales Baugrund- und Tiefbaurecht e.V.).
