Jill R. Lane has been with Moses & Singer since 1997, and is a partner in the Real Estate practice. Her practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate, with an emphasis on commercial leasing. Ms. Lane counsels financial institutions, investors, lenders and users in buying, financing, selling and leasing of all types of commercial properties, in the New York area as well as throughout the United States. Ms. Lane has extensive experience in representing both landlords and tenants in negotiations of commercial leases involving investor centers, office and retail properties. Transactions she has worked on include representation of a financial institution in the sale of its general partnership interest in a limited partnership which owned a first class office building in midtown Manhattan, sale by a financial institution of a first class office building on Park Avenue, acquisition by a financial institution of a first class office building on Wall Street, acquisition by an investor of motel properties, sale by an investor of a residential apartment complex, and acquisition by a financial institution of a portfolio of over 50 commercial properties located in various states.

Ms. Lane began her legal career as an associate with the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she represented boards of directors for condominium associations, homeowners' associations and other planned unit developments. Prior to joining Moses & Singer LLP, Ms. Lane was an associate with Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith, Ravin, Davis & Himmel, in Woodbridge, New Jersey, where she also represented boards of directors for planned unit developments and represented lenders in mortgage financings of commercial properties.
