Overview

Michael is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group, where he represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and other privately held companies on a variety of complex business transactions, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and executive compensation and equity incentive arrangements. Michael's experience has included serving as lead associate in a $3.75 billion investment in a global pharmaceutical supply company by a private equity sponsor, and his past representations have included The Blackstone Group, Investcorp Bank, Madison Dearborn Partners, Sun Capital Partners and General Electric Company, among others. Prior to joining Levenfeld Pearlstein, Michael was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago and was previously an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York City.
