Overview
Philipp Landers studied law in Hamburg and London after having completed a bank apprenticeship. He worked as scientific assistant at the Law Faculty in Hamburg and in the credit and international departments of a major German Bank. He was admitted to the bar in 1995 and became a partner of Ahlers & Vogel in 2003. Philipp has specialised in national and international shipping- and transport law, including marine insurance. Mainly in these fields, but also in maritime labour law and company and corporate law he regularly advises major shipyards, shipowners and logistic enterprises. He is also broadly experienced in arbitration matters, both as lawyer and as arbitrator. Philipp is a member of the Legal Committee of the German Shipbuilding and Ocean Industries Federation, the German Association for International Maritime Lawand the German Association for Transport Law.”
