Richard Fairbairn is a Partner at the London office of UK law firm ester Aldridge. He has wide experience of most aspects of Private Client work, including Trusts, Wills and Probates and associated tax planning.

Overview

Richard has been a Private Client Lawyer since qualifying in 1978. He previously headed the Park Nelson Private Client Department. Since 2004 he has headed the Lester Aldridge Private client team in the London office.

He has wide experience of most aspects of Private Client work, including Trusts, Wills and Probates and associated tax planning. His experience covers work in these areas internationally, as well as in the UK, although as a French speaker the international bias is particularly focused on France and French clients in London. 

Richard holds two French medals; Officier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Academiques, and Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite. He is a Director/Trustee of the Alliance Française, and other French charities, as well as the Association for Language Learning.
