Tarkosunaryo is known as Secretary general of The Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IICPA) as well as its spokesperson to the mass media .

He actively involves in the implementation of accounting standard in Indonesia. Strating his career as an auditor at Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) for 8 years and then joined a mid range Accounting firms.

He have been undertaking a wide range of services in auditing, accounting and consulting in this firm since 2003.
