Volker Römer studied law in Cologne. His work in the field of private and public Building Law included positions with a Cologne law firm specialising in Building Law and the Law of Architects and with an employers’ association of the ancillary building trade.
He was admitted to the bar in 1998 and became a partner of the firm in 2009. As a bar-certified specialist in Building Law and the Law of Architects, he mainly looks after medium-sized building companies and building corporations in Northern Germany and advises on large surface construction, construction engineering and civil engineering projects concurrent with the construction process.
He is a member of ARGE Baurecht (Working Group on Construction Law) in the German Bar Association, the Centrum für Deutsches und Internationales Baugrund- und Tiefbaurecht e.V. (Society for German and International Subsoil and Construction Law) and looks after our firm’s Building Law forum at the Hamburg office.
