Walter Delacruz is of counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property, Global Outsourcing and Procurement, Privacy and Cybersecurity and Advertising practices. Walter has extensive experience in intellectual property counseling and transactions in the telecommunications and financial services industries. He has advised and counseled clients in a broad array of technology-related transactions involving software licensing and technology hardware acquisitions for trading floor systems, market data, and data center operations. Walter has also negotiated and advised clients regarding complex business process outsourcing agreements including agreements involving data protection and privacy related matters, and has advised clients in web-based advertising services agreements.
Prior to joining Moses & Singer in 2007, Walter worked in New York City government in technology and telecommunications positions for Mayors Koch, Dinkins, and Giuliani; was Manager and Senior Counsel for Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Omnipoint Communications, Inc. (now T-Mobile USA, Inc.); and, was Senior Counsel in the Technology and Intellectual Property Group at Citigroup, Inc.
