Connecticut Lawyers Advise Mezzanine Lenders in Leveraged Buyout

Martin Chioffi Advise in Seitz Corporation Buyout

MSI Global Alliance's Connecticut law firm member Martin Chioffi represented mezzanine lenders Stonehenge Capital Company, and CMS Mezzanine Fund in connection with the financing of the buyout of Seitz Corporation, a company based in Torrington, Connecticut and Changzhou, Jiangsu, China.

Seitz Corporation is a leader in the design, engineering, manufacturing and assembly of complex plastic and metal components. The transaction was sponsored by private investment and management firm Andlinger & Company, and the acquisition was supported by a senior loan facility from Berkshire Bank. The Firm's representation of the mezzanine lenders included corporate, corporate finance, real estate and tax law aspects regarding the structuring of the mezzanine financing and negotiation of the definitive agreements.
