MSI’s East Asia & Indian Local Members Meeting Attracts Over 35 Delegates
Meeting Held in Kuala Lumpur Attracts Record Number of Delegates
35 members were welcomed by local firms Chooi & Company and Ty Teoh Ch International at MSI Global Alliance’s recent East Asia and Indian Local Members’ Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, a record both in terms of the number of delegates present and also the number of countries represented. In addition, two firms were attending their first meeting as members – Lee International from Korea and Broad & Bright from China.
The agenda covered a range of topics, including an update from the MSI perspective, updates and introductions from member firms, and an interesting discussion on future trends in the use of technology within professional firms, based on the recent book ‘The New Normal’ written by the Danish consultant Peter Hinssen.
MSI’s Chief Executive James Mendelssohn, who was accompanied at the meeting by fellow MSI Director Werner Kuhfuss from Germany, was particularly pleased not only by the attendance, but also by the level of interaction between the members. “There was really strong participation by members”, according to James “both in the meeting sessions and at other times over the weekend too. It is very encouraging to see the region grow from strength to strength”.
