London Insolvency Specialists Complete Sale of Key Catering

Simon Harris, Cameron Gunn and Mark Supperstone of MSI Global Alliance’s London insolvency specialist firm member ReSolve Partners were appointed Joint Administrators of Key Catering on 20 March 2012.

ReSolve Partners is pleased to announce the sale of the business and certain assets of Key Catering plc on 2 April. Commenting in respect of the sale, Cameron Gunn said "The sale represents an excellent result not only for the customers of the company, who have remained loyal throughout the recent period of uncertainty, but also for all 120 employees of Key Catering whose jobs have been saved."

Key Catering operates a distribution business supplying predominantly non-food catering, hygiene and sanatorial consumables to the catering trade. It trades from five depots and employs approximately 120 staff. It is a long-established family business that has previously posted revenues of £30 million per annum although it has suffered from increased competition which has seen such revenues decline.

The sale excludes the freehold assets of the Company in Becton and Manchester. Parties interested in these properties should contact the Administrators for details.
