South Carolina Lawyers Facilitate Two Major M&A Deals
Smith Moore Leatherwood Closes Force Protection & Wild Wing Cafe M&A Transactions
MSI Global Alliance’s South Carolina law firm member Smith Moore Leatherwood is proud to announce the closing of major M&A transactions on behalf of two of its clients, Force Protection and Wild Wing Cafe.
Smith Moore Leatherwood served as legal counsel to Force Protection in its $360 million merger with General Dynamics Corporation. Bobby Pearce, Bill Pitman, David Hodge and Frank Williams worked with Sullivan & Cromwell in representing Force Protection in the completion of a two-step tender offer which resulted in Force Protection becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics and with its operations being integrated into General Dynamics Land Systems.
The firm also served as legal counsel to Wild Wing Cafe, in its sale of a majority ownership interest to Axum Capital Partners, a private equity group headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bobby Pearce, Frank Williams and John Walker represented Wild Wing Cafe, which owns franchises 34 restaurants in seven states.
