Former Trainee Returns to Harrison Clark as Partner

A former trainee of Harrison Clark has returned to the law firm as its sixth partner in its Family Law Department

Chris Allen-Jones, the former Head of Family at the Black Country firm George Green & Co, re-joined MSI Global Alliance’s West Midlands (UK) law firm member Harrison Clark last month as a partner in the Family Law department having many years ago completed his training under the stewardship of partners Jonathan Brew and Andrew Caldicott.

Chris brings with him a wealth of experience gained from working in another leading regional practice, as well as a Birmingham City firm of lawyers with a national presence, and maintains many connections with the City of London. Chris will use this experience to specialise in developing Harrison Clark’s continued growth and success inBirminghamandLondon.

Chris has specialised in family law work since 1995 and deals with the consequences of relationship breakdowns in marriages and civil partnerships, as well as cohabitees resolving disputes relating to finance and children. Chris has particular expertise in cohabitation disputes including financial claims on behalf of children, and the determination of property interests. As a member of the Family Law Committee of the Birmingham Law Society and former member of the Committee for West Midlands Resolution – First For Family Law - Chris has, and continues to, campaign for improvements in the practice and procedure of family law.

The department now has 16 dedicated fee earners making it one of the largest family law teams in England and Wales.

The department offers a depth of knowledge and experience which is recognized in the Legal 500 which last year confirmed Harrison Clark's position as being the leading family law team in the region outside the City of Birmingham itself.
