Manchester Law Firm Neil Myerson Continues to Expand Commercial Law Department

Altrincham's Neil Myerson LLP adds depth to commercial law team with four new appointments.

Andrew Brown (formerly a Partner at Linder Myers) has joined the Company/Commercial Department at MSI Global Alliance’s Manchester law firm member Neil Myerson.

Andrew is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions (including cross border transactions), equity investment, corporate recovery/insolvency and commercial and franchising work.

Claire Critchley, Philip Ball and Rachel Lee have also joined the Firm in recent weeks. Claire, formerly of Halliwells and HLI in Manchester, specialises in commercial and insolvency related litigation work. Phil joins the Company/Commercial Department following his qualification as a solicitor at City of London firm Druces. Rachel, a new trainee with the Firm, is spending the first phase of her training in commercial litigation.

Carl Newton, Managing Partner at Neil Myerson, said: "To keep pace with the expansion of our commercial client base these appointments further increase the Firm's strength in depth. More and more mid-sized and large businesses and in-house counsel who traditionally use more expensive City Centre lawyers are now instructing us as a credible out-of-town alternative. They realise we offer a competitively priced and personalised service that does not compromise on quality. In comparison with our competitors, geographically being in Altrincham we are located closer to businesses and business owners residing in South Manchester/Cheshire. More fee earners will be joining our firm in coming weeks as we expand our business further."
