MSI Global Alliance Appoints First Accounting Firm Member in the Balkans
Finance Plus Consulting appointed MSI's accounting firm member in Montenegro
Leading global association of independent accountancy and law firms MSI Global Alliance has expanded its accounting membership to the Balkans region for the first time with the admission of Finance Plus Consulting in Montenegro.
Located on the Adriatic coastline in Southeastern Europe and next door to Croatia, Montenegro is a popular location for foreign investors and tourists.
Founded in 1996 and located in Montenegro's largest city Podgorica, the firm offers the full range of business accounting services including among others, the preparation of financial statements, VAT consulting, payroll services, company registration, company secretarial services, and advice on tax laws and regulations. The firm currently employs approximately 15 staff.
With many subsidiaries of multinational corporations already using the firm's services, Finance Plus Consulting views its affiliation with a renowned international grouping such as MSI Global Alliance as an important strategy for building the firm's international profile. Current clients include Avon, Heineken, Siemens, and Microsoft, with the firm serving a wide spectrum of domestic and foreign companies across industry sectors such as construction, trade, agriculture, banking, insurance, broker houses, the public sector and NGOs.
MSI's Chief Executive James Mendelssohn commented: "We have deliberately taken our time in searching for a suitably sized and skilled accounting firm member in this part of the world. We are very pleased to have Finance Plus Consulting in place as our member in Montenegro - the firm will play an important role in the expansion of the association's accounting membership to further countries in this increasingly important region."
