Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP was spanning the generations at the New Jersey Law Journal’s Professional Excellence Awards presentation, which was held on 15 June 2016 in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Arthur M. Greenbaum, a founder of our firm who is broadly acknowledged as one of the deans of real estate law in New Jersey, will be honored with a 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mr. Greenbaum has been practicing law for over six decades. Throughout his long and distinguished career he has focused on real estate brokerage and trade association law, representing many of New Jersey’s most prominent builders and developers, scores of commercial landlords and tenants, and for over 40 years as general counsel to New Jersey Realtors. As a noted authority on real estate brokerage and trade association law, Mr. Greenbaum argued nine cases before the New Jersey Supreme Court, including a number of landmark cases that have had a significant impact on the state’s real estate industry. Now in his 91st year, Mr. Greenbaum continues to attend firm luncheons, meet with and mentor our younger partners and associates, and stay abreast of developments in the real estate world, serving as an inspiration to the entire firm.
On the other side of the generational spectrum, Jemi Goulian Lucey and Stephanie G. Reckord have been selected for inclusion on the Law Journal’s list of 2016 “New Leaders of the Bar.” The publication annually recognizes the career accomplishments of young lawyers who have established themselves as leaders within their firms and organizations, as well as within the larger legal community.
Ms. Reckord is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, where her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts and encompasses the representation of clients in the areas of banking, employment, family law, trusts & estates, class action defense, consumer fraud, and commercial real estate.
Ms. Lucey is counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department. She concentrates her practice on commercial litigation, with a focus on complex commercial litigation, professional negligence defense, and the representation of clients in construction and engineering disputes, civil fraud and business torts, employment matters, commercial contract disputes, and banking and professional malpractice litigation.
Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is recognized throughout New Jersey as one of its most respected and distinguished law firms.
