The American Lawyer has named MSI's New York law member Moses & Singer LLP among the honorees of the publication’s fourth annual Global Legal Awards, in the Global Finance Deal of the Year category.
This honor was for the firm’s highly successful work on the private restructuring of Kaupthing Bank hf., an Icelandic bank that entered insolvency proceedings in Iceland during the financial crisis of 2008. That transaction was chosen from more than 200 nominations.
The awards recognised the law firms and in-house counsel who played a substantial role in the most distinguished international work across a wide range of disciplines between January 1 2015 and April 15 2016.
The Moses & Singer team, which included attorneys from its corporate trust, restructuring and capital markets groups, was led by partners Alan Kolod, Mark Parry and Kent Kolbig, and also included partners Alan Gamza and Allan Grauberd.
