MSI’s Texas law member Underwood Perkins P.C. is delighted to announce that one of its attorney’s John R. McNair has received a certification by The National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) – the only organisation approved by the American Bar Association to offer certification in the area of elder law.
Certification in elder law – one of the fastest growing fields in the legal profession – will provide a measure of assurance to the public that the attorney has an in-depth working knowledge of the legal issues that impact older adults. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, an average of 10,000 Americans turn age 65 every day.
John R. McNair of MSI’s member Underwood Perkins, P.C. is currently Dallas’ only practicing Certified Elder Law Attorney. John has practiced law in Texas for more than 30 years and focuses his practice on trusts, estate planning, Medicaid and long-term care planning, and probate. John is a graduate of Arkansas State University, The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville School of Law and Southern Methodist University and has been a resident of Texas for more than 30 years.
Underwood Perkins, a professional corporation, is a Dallas law firm with its office located in the business and financial center of North Dallas.
