USA: Immigration Alert - Executive Order & Travel

Brought to heel: Discriminatory dress codes in the UK workplace

Two House of Commons committees have published a report on Wednesday 25th January calling for better legal protection for female workers who are subjected to discriminatory dress codes. The investigation was triggered by the case of Nicola Thorp who was sent home without pay by her employer for not complying with a requirement to wear high heels of between two and four inches. haysmacintyre leading the way in the international charities sector

The international charities sector represents a significant part of the UK and not for profit sector, and one that has been an increasing area of focus for MSI’s UK accounting member haysmacintyre. According to statistics published by the UK based National Council of Voluntary Organisations, around 6% of the largest charities and 14% of medium-sized charities are international charities.
