Florida Board Certified in intellectual property law, co-founder and member Jorge Espinosa focuses his practice on the domestic and international protection of trademarks, patents and copyrights. He is AV–rated Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and was named in 2016 to World Trademark Review’s Top 1000 trademark law attorneys worldwide. He is also a 2017 Best Lawyer, 2016 Florida Super Lawyer and was a 2014 Florida Trend Legal Elite. Espinosa received his JD from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations & Economics from Florida International University.
Co-founder and member William R. Trueba, Jr.’s practice centers on the domestic and international enforcement of intellectual property rights. He is a patent attorney registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to litigation, he is also experienced in the prosecution of patent and trademark applications. He is a 2016 Super Lawyer and was a 2014 Florida Trend Magazine Legal Elite. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Judicial Circuit and for the Federal Circuit. Trueba received his JD from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University.
Member Elio F. Martinez, Jr. is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, specifically infringement of trademarks, patents and copyrights, as well as protection of trade secrets. His practice also focuses on financial services litigation. He is AV–rated Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, a 2016 Florida Super Lawyer and a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (by invitation only) and the Defense Research Institute. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Judicial Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Martinez holds a JD from New York University School of Law.
