MSI's Jersey member firm Minerva was recognised by eprivateclient as one of its 2016 Top Trust Companies.
On 23 May 2016, eprivateclient announced the names of its 2016 Top 25 Trust Companies following its analysis of the trust company sector in the United Kingdom and Crown Dependencies.
Research by eprivateclient highlighted changes in the trust industry as some of the larger banks scale back their fiduciary businesses, and consolidation continues as private equity firms either invest directly in the sector or provide support for management buyouts.
Commenting on the accolade, John Wood, Minerva’s Managing Director in Jersey said: “Consolidation has reduced the number of family owned and managed trust companies, so we were delighted that we have once again been recognised, and received the accolade of being one of the 2016 Top 25 Trust Companies. We have worked hard to maintain and enhance our position in a challenging environment, and remain committed to the family values that have supported Minerva’s development over the last 35 years”.
Minerva is a leading independent provider of bespoke trustee, corporate and fund administration services, focusing on internationally active clients in our key territories of sub-Saharan Africa, India, the Gulf, Europe and the UK.
