Rubino & McGeehin Appoints Two New Shareholders

Carolyn Quill & Patrick Curtis Appointed Shareholders

MSI Global Alliance's Maryland/District of Columbia accounting firm member Rubino & McGeehin is pleased to announce the admission of Carolyn Quill and Patrick Curtis as shareholders of the firm, effective February 1, 2012.

Carolyn Quill is responsible for the supervision and review of corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, estate and gift tax returns; estate and gift planning; representation in tax examination; merger and acquisition support and analytics; tax planning and transactional analysis. Her over 20 years of experience includes extensive work with small businesses and in the estate tax area. Carolyn received a BS from Merrimack College, a JD from the University of Denver College of Law, and a Masters of Law degree in Taxation from Georgetown University.

Patrick Curtis has been with Rubino & McGeehin for over eleven years. Patrick Curtis is the face of the firm to a wide range of clients, including both large and small non-profit organizations and government contractors. His responsibilities include delivering audit and consulting services to his client base with a focus on federal government contracting regulatory compliance. In addition Patrick has performed numerous audits of pension plans and audits in accordance with the provisions of OMB Circular A-133.  Patrick received his BA from University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was a police officer for five years and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for six years.
