INVOICES AND PAYMENT TERMS
Submission of a registration online, by phone or email, constitutes an official registration and intent to attend the event. All invoices are due on presentation and should be paid within 10 working days of the invoice date.
No conference place or hotel accommodation is guaranteed prior to actual receipt of payment in full. In the event of limited availability, priority will be given to registrations for which payment has been received earlier.
Please ensure to arrange your payment in the correct currency and quote the Invoice No with any payments made. ALL BANKING CHARGES ARE PAYABLE BY THE DELEGATE. Attendees may be asked to pay for any shortfall in fees at Conference Registration. Due to new regulations by our bank, we no longer accept any paper-based payments, e.g. by cheque or bank draft.
All registrations are accepted on the basis that payment of the invoiced amount will be made in accordance with the contractual payment terms. Please let us know if you no longer plan to attend an event and note the cancellation policy which applies to all registrations whether or not the invoice has actually been paid. There is no cost to substitute a registration with another colleague from your firm (see below).
ATTENDEES – NON MSI FIRMS
Only MSI Global Alliance active member firms are permitted to register onto MSI Global Alliance meetings and events. Prior written requests are required for non MSI Firms to attend any meetings and events. MSI Global Alliance reserve the right to refuse registrations for non MSI Firms.
There are specific cancellation dates set for each event which apply to delegate cancellations.
If the in-person event is cancelled due to an officially declared state of emergency, pandemic or other force majeure incident, refunds will be handled in accordance with the force majeure event terms.
For virtual conference attendees, cancellation is permissible at any time.
For accommodation cancellations these must be made in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy.
SUBSTITUTION AND BADGE POLICY
Substitution of registrations may be made at any time up to the event start date. Certain conferences require attendees to be qualified by MSI Global Alliance to attend and any substitutions would also require approval by MSI Global Alliance. “No Shows” will be deemed a cancellation per the cancellation cut-off date in the Cancellation Policy listed above.
Sharing of attendee badges/credentials is not permitted at any time. Badges/credentials are issued to, can be picked up by, and used by only the attendee named in the registration. Badges must be worn at all times during the event.
An event badge allows an attendee entry to the overall event, but cannot guarantee admission to every session, lounge, or meeting area. Admission is subject to venue capacity and other requirements.
It is our policy that all delegates should book hotel rooms either through the registration system or if a direct link has been provided by the hotel. Dependant on each event. For this event, a direct link is available to book your accommodation. As our contract with the hotel includes accommodation as well as meeting rooms this arrangement allows us to have a lower package overall, which we reflect in the registration fees and/or room rates offered.
Please note however that there are only a limited number of rooms reserved in the hotel for this event. Rooms will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, depending on availability. A room with the MSI room rate is not guaranteed. Availability on the event website does not necessarily indicate rooms are actually available in the hotel, although every effort will be made to update the website as soon as information from the hotel is received.
CHANGES IN THE PROGRAMME
MSI Global Alliance reserves the right to change the times and any part of the programme at any time up to the event. This includes optional excursions, which may be cancelled if the numbers are below the minimum number of participants required.
