Herb began his career in 1991 working in a small accounting firm and the private sector. He joined GS& Co. in 1997 as a staff accountant, advancing quickly through the ranks, and became a shareholder in 2001. With over 30 years of experience, Herb provides accounting and audit, as well as corporate and individual tax services to a diverse client base in multiple industries including construction, real estate development, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. Herb is a hands-on practitioner, who in addition to providing the requisite accounting and tax compliance services, also provides in-depth business and management consulting. Herb’s business acumen and innovative solutions to business problems result in clients frequently seeking his professional advice on business operations, as well as the tax ramifications of significant financial transactions prior to their consummation. Herb also leads the firm’s Human Resources area, overseeing and directing the firm’s activities in recruiting, employee benefits administration, as well as general office administrative matters.
