I am a Barrister-at-Law, Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, and Managing Partner of MNP Legal, advising and representing businesses, financial institutions, investors and individuals across a broad range of legal and commercial matters.

At MNP Legal, my practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, civil and commercial disputes, banking and finance, company and securities law, regulatory compliance, foreign investment, cross-border transactions, contractual matters and dispute resolution. I work across both contentious and non-contentious matters, including corporate advisory, commercial negotiations, regulatory issues and litigation.

As Managing Partner, I am closely involved in the firm’s strategic direction and continued growth, with a focus on developing a modern, commercially oriented legal practice that combines strong local expertise with an international outlook. My approach is centred on understanding the client’s commercial objectives and providing legal solutions that are practical, strategic and effective.

I obtained my LLB from London Metropolitan University and LLM in International Business Law from BPP Law School, London, before completing the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School, London. I was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2015.

Beyond legal practice, I am actively involved in Bangladesh’s corporate and financial sectors. I serve as Managing Director of E-Securities Limited, a stock brokerage firm and depository participant, and hold board-level and investment interests across businesses in several sectors.

My involvement in business, investment and the capital markets complements my legal practice by providing first-hand insight into the commercial, regulatory and strategic considerations faced by businesses and decision-makers.

My professional approach is simple: understand the business, understand the law, and bridge the two effectively.
