Aider Legal strengthens international expertise with two new lawyers

MSI’s Norway law firm Aider Legal welcomes two international lawyers, enhancing the firm's cross-border tax, employment and corporate law support for international clients.

As a law firm working across borders, we help foreign companies doing business in Norway. We take pride in our international expertise and in the people behind it. A diverse team makes us better advisors, and better colleagues.

We are pleased to welcome two new lawyers to the team:

Lara Kvam, EEA lawyer
Lara holds a law degree from Portugal and has worked in Portugal, Angola, the UK, and Norway. That background gives her firsthand knowledge of how different tax and legal systems meet in cross-border situations. She advises individuals and companies on Norwegian and international tax law, global mobility, and cross-border employment, in Portuguese, Norwegian, and English.

Sören Gussner, dual-qualified lawyer
Sören is admitted to practice in both Germany and Norway, and he has worked with German-Norwegian business relations for most of his career. He advises on tax, corporate law, posted workers, and setting up subsidiaries and branches in Norway, in German, Norwegian, and English.

Doing business across borders means dealing with two legal systems, two tax regimes, and often two languages. With Lara and Sören, our clients can discuss their questions in German or Portuguese, with lawyers who understand both legal cultures. That makes it easier to spot risks early and to understand how the Norwegian rules apply to their business.

Welcome to the team, Lara and Sören!
