MSI's Florida law member Espinosa Martinez PL is delighted to announce that its intellectual property litigation attorney, Elio F. Martinez, JR, has been appointed co-chair of the Alumni Awards Committee of New York University Alumni Association (NYUAA) for 2017/2018.
The committee selects recipients of the NYUAA Distinguished Alumnus(a) Award, the Distinguished Young Alumnus(a) Award, and the Award for Distinguished Public Service.
Martinez is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, specifically infringement of trademarks, patents and copyrights, as well as protection of trade secrets. His practice also focuses on financial services litigation. He is a 2017 South Florida Legal Guide Top Attorney-Corporate and Business, a 2017 Super Lawyer, and a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (by invitation only) and the Defense Research Institute. Martinez is admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Judicial Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He holds a JD from New York University School of Law.
