Blacklaw Advisory launches Business Improvement Programme in the UK
The two day Business Improvement Programme event, which was held on 3 & 4 November 2016 , was created by Alec Blacklaw who specifically designed it to help owner managed businesses improve their performance. He worked with Yorkshire business advisers and MSI member Armstrong Watson to deliver the programme in the UK. Athletics legend Steve Cram was among a talented line up of speakers as fifty selected business owners came together at Wood Hall Hotel, where they learnt nine key strategies to make their business more profitable, valuable and enjoyable. Armstrong Watson's Business Development Director Dave Clarkson commented: "We had seen how influential The BIP was in Australia and the difference it was making to entrepreneurial businesses out there, and we knew our Yorkshire businesses would really benefit." Alec Blacklaw added: "We've got an amazing set of expert speakers who will focus on actively improving businesses as we run through the strategies supported by a combination of business best practice, case studies, and practical exercises – plus we have lots of breakouts to allow delegates to tackle whatever challenges or opportunities they are facing." "And the cost is all tax-deductable, with a money-back guarantee if, at the end of the event, businesses genuinely feel it didn’t work for them.” The programme covered the following key success strategies including:- The Importance of Passion, Focus & Capability
- Beginning with the End in Mind
- Making Your Business Fly in a Digital World
- Getting the Best out of your People
- Staying Alive in Business
- Moving Towards a Larger Business
- How to Build Your Brand in the Digital Economy
- Leadership & Culture
- Building Value & more Options in your Succession/Exit Plan
