Cross firm training collaboration between Lester Aldridge and Myerson Solicitors

MSI's UK law member firms Lester Aldridge and Myerson Solicitors have launched a new cross firm training initiative bringing together the firms' commercial teams for joint training events.

Lester Aldridge is pleased to be collaborating with fellow MSI member firm Myerson Solicitors on a new cross firm training initiative between the two Commercial teams. Myerson is MSI’s Northern UK law member and Lester Aldridge is MSI’s UK South Coast law member, making this a strong regional partnership within the network.

Following recent discussions between Grant Esterhuizen, Partner and Head of our Corporate and Commercial Group, and M Akeel Latif, Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial at Myerson Solicitors, both firms have agreed to share their annual training trackers and identify opportunities to deliver joint sessions. Each firm will select two training events where the two teams will come together virtually on Microsoft Teams.

The training to be exchanged between the two firms will cover a broad range of specialist topics. Examples include updates on insolvency law, Companies House transparency reforms, loan agreement structures, data protection, client service development and recent changes in employment law. By combining selected sessions, both firms aim to broaden technical understanding, share experience across practice areas and bring fresh perspectives to their teams.

Grant Esterhuizen said: “This collaboration is a great opportunity for our teams to learn from each other and to build on the strengths within the MSI network. By bringing our lawyers together, we can share ideas and approaches that benefit both firms and our clients.”

M Akeel Latif added: “We are very pleased to be working with Lester Aldridge on this joint training initiative. Combining our expertise allows us to develop our teams in a more dynamic way and helps strengthen the connections between member firms. We are looking forward to delivering these sessions together.”

This collaboration represents a positive step in developing stronger links between MSI member firms and demonstrates the value of combined expertise for the benefit of clients and colleagues alike.
