DaHui produces guide on Technology M&A Trends in the PRC

At the invitation of Chambers and Partners, MSI’s China law member DaHui produced a guide on the trends and developments of technology M&A in the PRC market

DaHui’s insights touch on trends of further opening-up to foreign investment (fewer restricted sectors, simplified procedure for obtaining operating licenses, etc.), potential corporate governance changes (under the draft revisions to the Company Law, including specifically for M&A activity), further development of cybersecurity review and rules for cross-border data transfers, and the recent amendments to the Anti-Monopoly Law.

The Firm draws on its long-standing expertise in each of these corporate and regulatory areas, as well as deep experience in countless (and mostly cross-border) TMT mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, etc. to elucidate not only the most recent developments in M&A involving Chinese technology enterprises but also where the market may be heading next. DaHui’s guide reflects how China’s tech M&A market remains highly active and dynamic, in particular with the digital economy, new energy, and green development likely to drive M&A transactions in the future.

DaHui is honored to be a Chambers contributor on this field as well as on Corporate M&A, TMT, Fintech, Sports, and other Chambers Global Guides.
