MSI's specialist member Diaz Trade Law based in Miami is delighted to present a variety of webinars focussed on customs and international trade law. The following two webinars will be held in November and December.

11/17/2021 –  Successfully Navigating the U.S. Customs Detention and Seizure Process This one-hour webinar will provide an overview of how to successfully navigate the U.S. Customs detention and seizure process. In FY 2020 73,708 seizures took place, 26,490 were just for intellectual property rights. This webinar discusses what do if your goods are detained and/or seized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Presenters provide a practical approach on how to successfully navigate the CBP detention and seizure process, tips when importing to ensure compliance, what to do if you encounter a CBP detention and/or seizure case. This webinar also discusses the rules of travelling with currency and how to get seized money back from CBP. 12/01/2021 –  CTPAT Program: Is CTPAT a Right Fit? This one-hour webinar introduces you to Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT). The CTPAT is a voluntary supply-chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection focused on improving the security of private companies' supply chains with respect to terrorism.
