Expert solicitor at Myerson Solicitors becomes a member of the UK & Ireland LGBT Family Law Institute

Family lawyer Nichola Bright, from MSI's Northern UK law member Myerson Solicitors in Altrincham, has joined the specialist UK and Ireland LGBT Family Law Institute (UK&I FLI). The institute is an association of leading barristers and solicitors who work in the specialist area of LGBT Family Law, providing support and transparent advice to the LGBT community.

Globally, the LGBT Family Law Institute comprises of approximately 400 members throughout the USA and worldwide. LGBT Family Law History UK&I FLI was established in May 2015, following the first international meeting of the Family Law Institute outside the US, in London.  Similar associated groups have subsequently been established in Europe, Australia, South America and Canada. Specialist Family Law Solicitor for LGBT communities Senior solicitor Nichola, has extensive experience in acting for the LGBT community in relation to family separation and issues regarding children. She further speciliases in fertility law, which includes assisting LGBT parents with their application for a Parental Order following surrogacy. As well as advising individuals on their chosen route to parenthood, Nichola regularly assists fertility clinics to help them navigate the ever changing legal and regulatory requirements. Nichola said: “I am delighted to become a member of the LGBT Family Law Institute, and look forward to continuing my practice within the LGBT community”.
