HaysMac appoints private client director
Tim brings over two decades of experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, and business owners on a broad range of personal tax and trust matters. He specialises in complex UK tax planning, including individuals with international aspects to their lives. Throughout his career, Tim has built a reputation for delivering commercially astute and technically rigorous advice, with a particular focus on helping clients manage succession planning, navigate regulatory change, and structure wealth across generations.
Tim previously spent many years in senior roles at a mid-tier accountancy firm and is widely recognised for his thought leadership on private client tax issues, frequently contributing commentary to national and trade media.
At HaysMac, Tim will play a key role in the growth and strategic direction of the Private Client and Trusts team. The team is known for its deep specialism in advising high-net-worth individuals, international families, business owners, trustees, and landed estates.
The team’s longstanding reputation is built on a blend of technical precision and a highly personal approach.
Commenting on Tim’s appointment, Natasha Frangos, Managing Partner, said: "Tim brings deep expertise and a commercial mindset that will add real value to our clients and our team through his approachable manner. His appointment reflects our continued investment in building one of the most trusted and dynamic private client teams in the market. As we continue to grow, we’re focused on attracting leaders who align with our purpose: For business. For people. For good. Tim shares our belief that private client work isn’t just about technical accuracy but long-term relationships, personal integrity, and making a positive impact for the people and families we serve."
Tim added: "I’m excited to be joining HaysMac at a time of such momentum. The team’s reputation for technical excellence and deep client relationships aligns closely with my approach, and I look forward to contributing to its continued success."
The appointment follows the recent arrival of Graeme Privett as Private Client Partner and marks another milestone in what has been an incredibly exciting 12 months for the firm. In addition to the firm’s major re-brand, HaysMac has recently been named one of The Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work 2025 – Big Organisation’ for the second consecutive year, and highly commended in the ‘Best Places to Work for Women’ category. This accolade follows eprivateclient’s ‘Top Accountancy Firms’ for 2024 – an annual listing of the best UK tax advisory firms providing advice to domestic and international private clients, their businesses and their families.
